If you've lost your IRS Form W-2G, you can get a copy from the gambling establishment that gave it to you. Alternatively, you can ask the IRS to send you a copy. The gambling establishment sent a copy of the W-2G to the IRS to report the money it withheld from your winnings. He was betting $500-$1,000 a hand, two hands every time. Over about 4 hours the guy floats between my table and the one next to me buying in $10,000 at a time. There were so many $100 bills in my money box it was getting tough to put the paddle in it. My floor tells me after he leaves that he lost $209,000 after it was all said and done. Limitations on loss deductions. What is a marker in gambling. The amount of gambling losses you can deduct can never exceed the winnings you report as income. For example, if you have $5,000 in winnings but $8,000 in losses, your deduction is limited to $5,000. You could not write off the remaining $3,000, or carry it forward to future years. When Remos filed his taxes for the year he didn't report the $50,000 win as income. He knew he had at least $50,000 in gambling losses during the year. He subtracted his losses from his winnings and ended up with zero; so he figured he didn't have any gambling income to list on his return. Makes sense, doesn't it?
Hi. I love craps but lately I have been getting bad streaks. Odds on craps. I was on a hot streak last year and made $20,000 just by betting Field and Don't Come. This month, I have already lost $1000 on really bad don't Come and Field Rolls..
Those who live by the sword shall die by the swordThose who live by the Field and Don't Come shall die by the Field and Don't Come. Unless you have found a casino that offers those bets with a player's edge instead of a house edge. Then you will live very prosperously and not die.. unless it's from too much very luscious and sweet high living.

This month, I have already lost $1000 on really bad don't Come and Field Rolls. I however got a Royal Flush on video Poker earlier this month for another $20,000. So I'm still in the black, and that's what really matters.
Welcome to WOV! :D What is the Minimum bet to play Craps In the Casinos you play at? In my Craps App, it is a $5 Minimum bet, but I have never attempted to play Craps In real life. About losing $1,000 on really bad Don't Come and Field bets, why not try to ONLY play the 2 dice option? That gives you 30 times your bet according to my Craps App
. And if you have $5 minimum and $100 you can do 20 spins before you lose all your money. Hopefully at least one roll is a $150 win within those 20 spins. Highest Ranking Members and both Lower Ranking Members, am I giving her bad Craps advice? I think my advice is pretty solid, but feel free to tell me if this is actually bad advice.
Once again, does anyone want to tell me if I gave her bad Craps advice? I would really love to know.
Yes, it's literally the worst craps advice possible.
By '30 to 1 two dice bet' I think you meant the horn or hardways bets. Those are the worst bets you can make in craps.

Thank you for your honesty. :) I tend to give bet advice that can net you the most money, not necessarily the best odds. ;)

Of course you knew already... BBB has specifically stated that a post like that would get you suspended. She probably has missed this thread...

The only way to consistently come out ahead at every craps session is to do what I used to do - be a dealer.
According to the WOV odds sheet, if you can find a table with 3:1 payoffs on the 12 and 2 in the field section then you can go forever and get free RFB along the way.
Supporting Victorians affected by gambling
The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation is here to support people affected by gambling harm, including family and friends. We take a public health approach to our work, which means we focus on prevention, early intervention and support for those who are particularly vulnerable to gambling harm as well as those living in regional and rural communities.
We fund and work closely with organisations across Victoria to provide free and confidential Gambler's Help services to people experiencing harm from their own or someone else's gambling.

Love the Game, Not the Odds
Gambling advertising is changing the way we see sport. The amount of advertising we are being exposed to on a daily basis would make it seem like gambling is now just a normal part of sport. Our Love the Game Program aims to counter the normalisation of gambling in sport.
